This kit is specifically made for 8x10 frames with at least 1/4" mounting depth (frame shown in example is an IKEA Ribba frame). You can cut the LED strip down in size if you wish (strip is approximately 18 inches). You simply stick the self adhesive LED strip to the side of the frame as shown in the pictures. The battery box (batteries included) has an on/off switch. These are optimized for our film cell display layouts. Display and frame NOT included.
